Aidan Turner’s most recent film, The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then the Bigfoot, will have it’s promised local red carpet event in the area where it filmed in late summer 2017. The films writer/producer/director, Robert D. Krzykowski is from Turner Falls and there had been rumors of a local premiere when filming ended. The Turners Falls premiere will be held on 26 January 2019. Many locals were able to get small parts in the film and are excited to finally see it on the big screen. The US release date for the film is 8 February 2019.

“The Western Massachusetts premiere of the feature film “The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then The Bigfoot” will be presented at the Shea Theater – red carpet and all – in the town where it was shot.
The event – Saturday, Jan. 26, at 7 p.m. – will also feature a post-film conversation and Q and A with writer/producer/director Robert D. Krzykowski, composer Joe Kraemer, producer Lucky McKee and will be hosted by Montague resident Christopher “Monte” Belmonte, the Shea’s board of directors president.”
