The Daily Pioneer posted a new interview with Aidan Turner in advance of “Leonardo” being shown in India on 9 April 2021 on SonyLIV. Note: the first article I read said it was airing on 6 April.. this interview says 9 April.. so I’m not sure which is true.
“To play a character like that, a historical figure, an artist, it can be intimidating and quite terrifying. But I think Frank Spotnitz’s scripts focus a lot on who’s the man behind the genius and that’s what motivates him as an artist and as a person.”
